In the sea of products, several fortes set a brand apart. Good packaging is one of these things. The product experience begins with the packaging. Hence, when Snooze approached us to design and print their packaging, our sole goal was to give the already outstanding brand a crowd-puller look.
Snooze - Linen & Bedding
Snooze has been providing people with the sleep of their dreams for decades by providing luxurious, high-quality bedsheets and linen products. As a result, we felt both honored and nervous about depicting the brand packaging. We wanted to make people feel the softness before they touched and felt the actual product, not just reflect the company.
When you think of sleep, you imagine a nice cozy bed with the softest pillows and, of course, a clean, comfortable, and cuddly bedsheet. That is precisely what Snooze stands out for. They are well known for selling luxurious and super smooth bed sheets. Our goal was to convey the same message through the packaging.
Designing That Tells a Story
Hence, we choose Cloud as a logo. Cloud means comfort and Snooze is comfort. After a long day, cloud represents cuddling in your bed like a small baby. It evokes the desire to unwind and snooze away from the world.
The brand colors are shades of blue which invokes feelings of calm and serenity. It makes you wonder about the most peaceful sleep. Our goal was to create a design that exuded a sense of luxurious comfort, seamlessly blending the elements of coziness while upholding the brand's inherent premiumness. By combining soft look and luxury in one box, our team curated most delicate yet durable packaging for Snooze.
Packaging - Top-notch Technicality Meets Conceptual Excellence
Moving ahead with the packaging details, we reflected the brand story minimally and luxuriously. The first packaging is to showcase their economy bedsheets. A royal blue color box with a white, metallic logo is a perfect combination of comfort and luxury. We did the conventional printing with silk smooth matt lamination along with heat pressed foil.
To enhance the packaging experience even further, we use Pantone inks rather than traditional CMYK inks to create a patch-free printing masterpiece. When a customer opens the package, it should remind them of what Snooze is all about. We placed a tagline right at the start. With simple logos, the backside highlights the product's main features.The bottom of the packaging highlights contact details and social media handles.
The basic packaging for premium bedsheets remains the same, with branding. However, we added a premium twist to set it apart from other products. The packaging is a soft blue colour with small dreamy elements. Dots, stars, and tiny leaves depict a dreamy sleep, which is the story they want to sell through their premium bed sheets. These elements are highlighted by the UV effect when you first look at the package. It also has a full metallic logo with a dripped dotted filling that runs the length of the package. The overall appearance is more matt, with a glossy surface for a nice, lustrous feel.

Good design and high-quality packaging go hand-in-hand. These are the key elements in attracting customers at the bottom of the marketing funnel. For Snooze, we attempted to achieve this winning combination. This packaging tells a story, most likely a bedtime story!
